Weaverville, North Carolina – Chemicals linked to hormone disruption, allergies, and even cancer exist in cleaning products Americans use every day, yet most manufacturers do not specify what’s inside each products for consumers. A new campaign, “No Secrets,” led by Women’s Voices for the Earth with leading green cleaning companies, including SHECOLOGY, seeks to create a new standard of transparency for the industry.
We want to convince all product manufacturers that full, specific disclosure isn’t just the right thing to do, but that consumers will increasingly demand it,” explained Erin Switalski, executive director of Women’s Voices for the Earth.
So far, at least 15 major green cleaning companies are on board, including SHECOLOGY.
